The Geminis CNC Lathes are some of the best known lathes on the market today. The GHT Five is a heavy duty, horizontal lathe which has many excellent features including digital cnc operation. There are two speed ranges with automatic gear change and electronic hand wheels and a joystick. The tailstock is manual and mobile through longitudinal carriage. There are eight station VDI automatic disc turrets and retractable automatic supports for the longitudinal ball screw. The bed, slides and ball screws are automatically lubricated. The coolant system is built in with it's own motor pump and there are swarf and coolant collection tray.

The hand wheel is electronic and portable and there are four speed ranges with automatic change as standard. Geminis have incorporated the motorised movement of the tailstock and automatic locking to the bed and automatic locking of the tailstocks quill. This lathe has a portable probe for monitoring tool wear. The interchangeable rotating centre has a ninety degree range incorporated into the quill. The four turret stations are automatic in operation and the movement of the longitude axis comes via hydraulically pre loaded double pinion and precision rack.
