CNC flatbed lathes are the new order, replacing the older multi spindle machines. The newer CNC Flatbed Lathes are very easy to use in operation as well as preliminary setting. These machines are controlled by a computer interface that allows the programme to be modified and displayed at the machine, and it also generates a simulated preview.

CNC flatbed lathes operate using the basic principle workings that original machine users will recognise, however the machine has evolved with the latest technology available, this means that the operator will need an advance knowledge of flatbed lathes.

Goratu’s increased range of Geminis CNC Flat Bed lathes provide constructive robustness and ergonomic design. Each lathe is fitted with either FAGOR, SIEMENS or FANUC CNC controls all with simplified CNC programming systems which are very operator friendly:Models GHT 5 and above are available with Large Spindle bores up to 514mm.
