News: New Model GT5 Lathe
The predecessor of the GT5-G2-1100 x 4000 Heavy Duty Flat Bed CNC Lathe was the GHT 5 which is one our best selling models, this is why the decision was made to re-design and manufacture our most popular lathe to be bigger, stronger, faster and more efficient.
The GT5 has now incorporated the following features as standard:
4 Speed ranges.
Ergonomic design of front casting to allow the swarf to fall direct onto the swarf conveyor.
Front swarf conveyor (larger width for increased swarf removal and easy access).
Increased swing from 1000 mm to 1100 mm.
Increased saddle width from 680 mm to 750 mm.
Increased capacity of cutting forces, both X and Z axis have been increased by 20%.
Increased bed width from 553 mm to 655 mm.
Increased X axis to allow for the possibility of machining a component with a total length of 4000mm between the the standard chuck and tailstock.
